"No End in Sight" to American Financial Turmoil?

Yesterday's New York Times contained an interesting editorial on the financial struggles of the American economy and placed the onus on Congress to help turn things around sooner rather than later.

While painting a bleak financial picture for future months (as evident in its ominous title "No End in Sight"), the editorial emphasized the need for lawmakers to put an end to political posturing and to begin to address several important issues, including but not limited to working on the next stimulus checks and reforming bankruptcy law so that bankruptcy judges can modify the terms of existing mortgages and help people stop foreclosure.

Check out the editorial below -- it's definitely worth a couple of minutes of your time:

No End in Sight.
